NEW LONDON, CONNECTICUT, October 22, 2004 – ePath Learning, a leader in the creation of browser-based learning technologies, has been named a Rising Star in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 program for Connecticut. The Rising Star award is a special designation for fast-growth technology companies that have been in business just three or four years and is part of the 2004 Connecticut Technology Fast 50 program. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over three years (2001 to 2003).

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 Rising Star program, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $1,000,000 in 2003, must be public or private companies headquartered in North America, and be a "technology company" defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues and/or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.

ePath Learning is a single-source provider of Internet-based learning platforms, course development services and online courses. The company has developed a leading, learning management technology that combines the features of a Learning Management System and a Learning Content Management System into an integrated, browser-based, easy to use, online service. Organizations can now collaboratively author eLearning courses, tests and surveys, while they seamlessly deliver and manage all their learning content – be it on-line, classroom-based, synchronous, asynchronous or blended modes.

“In an era where technology companies come and go, making the Deloitte Technology Rising Star is a testament to a company's vision that allows growth over three years,” said David A. Carver, Partner, Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice in Connecticut. “ePath Learning’s leadership has the right stuff for growth, and Deloitte salutes their accomplishments.”

“It is a tremendous honor for ePath Learning to be named a Rising Star and a wonderful validation of our strong performance,” said Dudley Molina, President, ePath Learning. “Not only does this award acknowledge our growth, but it also recognizes the value our products bring to our customers, our technology leadership, and our overall innovation and customer satisfaction.”
